Short version: no accounts, no cookies, no tracking of you as a person. We count events, not people.
Who runs this site
BillRadar is run by a sole trader in New South Wales, Australia (ABN 88 334 249 242). Questions about this policy: contact@billradar.au.
What we don't collect
- No accounts and no sign-up.
- No cookies, no browser storage, no advertising identifiers.
- No personal profiles: we have nothing that identifies you, and nothing to sell.
Location searches
If you tap "Use my location", your browser asks your permission first, then sends your coordinates to our server once, to work out your nearest suburb. That is all they are used for: the suburb field gets filled in, and no search runs until you press "Find fuel prices". We don't store your coordinates and they never reach NSW FuelCheck. A price search sends only the suburb name, whether you typed it or it came from your location. Searches made directly with coordinates through our API pass NSW FuelCheck only the centre of a rounded grid square a few kilometres wide, never exact coordinates.
Anonymous counters
We keep aggregate counters to understand whether the site is useful: visits by page type, tool calls by client kind (for example, automated tools), and clicks on the finder. These are plain totals with no identifiers attached: "the finder was used 40 times today", never "you used the finder".
Infrastructure and data sources
- The site runs on Cloudflare. Like any hosting provider, Cloudflare processes IP addresses to deliver traffic (see Cloudflare's own privacy policy). We don't log or store IP addresses ourselves.
- Price queries go to the NSW Government FuelCheck API. No personal information is included in those requests.
Advertising
There is no advertising on this site today. If we add ads (for example, Google AdSense), we will update this policy first and describe exactly what changes.
Changes and contact
This policy was last updated on 19 August 2026. If it changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date. For anything privacy-related, email contact@billradar.au.
